A community engagement project at Old Fox Yard, Stowmarket.

Over the summer of 2023 an exisitng Stowmarket sculpture was wrapped in strips of fabric chosen at random by the artist and passing members of the public. Visitors to Old Fox Yard were then asked to add a luggage tag to the sculpture with a message of what it meant to them. Responses varied from discussions of widllife to the nature of art and much more beyond. The artwork was a way of getting the community to take ownership of a local feature and to get people talking about what matters to them.
